PRIVACY
Your documents are yours.
The tools marked “available” in this release process files inside your browser. PaperGrid does not send those files to a PaperGrid server or retain copies.
Browser processing
Merge, split, remove pages, extract pages, organize, compress, rotate, add page numbers, add a watermark, crop, scan or image-to-PDF, repair-by-rewrite, PDF-to-JPG and HTML-to-PDF run on your device. The supported processing libraries are served from the PaperGrid website, and your document contents are not sent to a PaperGrid server.
Browser-enforced restrictions
PaperGrid HTML responses use a Content Security Policy that limits scripts and page connections to the PaperGrid origin, blocks frames and object embeds, and upgrades insecure requests. A Permissions Policy disables camera, microphone, location, payment, USB, serial and Bluetooth access. These controls reduce attack surface but cannot control browser extensions, managed-device software or a compromised device.
Unavailable tools
Tools that need server conversion, encryption, OCR, AI, advanced editing or full-document comparison are visibly disabled. They do not accept uploads in this release.
No account required
PaperGrid is publicly available without login. This release does not save document files, passwords, file names, form inputs or account-linked processing history.
Anonymous usage counters
PaperGrid records only the tool or guide identifier, a simple action such as open, sample, share, process, success, error or return, and the event time. A device-local visit date lets PaperGrid count a later-day return without sending a browser identifier. When a visit arrives with a recognizable AI-assistant referrer or source tag, PaperGrid can record only a broad source bucket such as ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Copilot or Claude. The analytics table does not store a cookie identifier, IP address, file name, document content, raw referrer, query string or form value.
PaperGrid's owner can review these events only as a private aggregate report of daily, weekly and monthly counts, including aggregate completion and return signals. Return counts represent browsers returning on a later date, not verified people, and AI-source counts are incomplete because many apps suppress referrers. The report cannot identify a person or reveal a processed document.
Sensitive files
Do not process a file unless you have the right and authorization to use it. Avoid placing confidential content in HTML entered into the HTML-to-PDF tool unless you are comfortable processing it in your browser.
